SP 6120A
This loco was built in 10/1948 with EMD construction number 6903. It was built as a 1500 hp F3 A-unit. It was painted in the SP's standard for the time black widow colors.
Her alpha suffix was done away with when the F3 fleet was renumbered in December 1949 as she became SP 6140. She was transferred to the T&NO and renumbered as T&NO 300 (2nd) in March 1957.
She was wrecked while operating on the Cotton Belt at Chandler, TX on 11/23/1962 and subsequently retired and sold to EMD on 01/29/1963.
