SP 6119A
This loco was built in 1/1948 with EMD construction number 4540. It was built as a 1500 hp F3 A-unit. It was painted in the SP's standard for the time black widow colors.
Her alpha suffix was done away with when the F3 fleet was renumbered in December 1949 as she became SP 6138. She was one of two engines from this initial group that was NOT transferred to the T&NO. She kept her 1949 number until she was retired.
She received nose MU in 11/1961.
She was wrecked in 12/1962 and sold to EMD on 01/17/1963.
