SP 6111B
This loco was built in 01/1948 with EMD construction number 4564. It was built as a 1500 hp F3 B-unit. It was painted in the SP's standard for the time black widow colors.
Her alpha suffix was done away with when the F3 fleet was renumbered in late 1949 as she became SP 8022. She was transferred to the T&NO and renumbered as T&NO 526 on 11/1951.
She was returned to her previous SP number on 01/21/1953.
She was retired and sold to GE (via Precision Engineering Corp.) on 10/22/1964.
