SP 6109A
This loco was built in 12/1947 with EMD construction number 4520. It was built as a 1500 hp F3 A-unit. It was painted in the SP's standard for the time black widow colors.
Her alpha suffix was done away with when the F3 fleet was renumbered in December 1949 as she became SP 6118. She was transferred to the T&NO and renumbered as T&NO 318 on 04/07/1950.
She was rebuilt as an F9M at Houston and renumbered T&NO 633 in 11/1958.
She was wrecked in Texas and sold to EMD on 01/04/1964.
