SP 6105B
This loco was built in 12/1947 with EMD construction number 4552. It was built as a 1500 hp F3 B-unit. It was painted in the SP's standard for the time black widow colors.
Her alpha suffix was to have been done away with when the F3 fleet was renumbered in late 1949. She was to have became SP 8010, but was sent to the T&NO and renumbered as T&NO 510 on 09/15/1949 prior to this number being applied.
She was rebuilt as an F9M at Houston and renumbered T&NO 712 in 10/21/1955.
She was retired on 09/21/1967 and sold to EMD on 11/10/1967.
