SP 6100A
This loco was built in 5/1947 with EMD construction number 4502. It was built as a 1500 hp F3 A-unit. It was painted in the SP's standard for the time black widow colors.
Her alpha suffix was to have been done away with when the F3 fleet was renumbered in June 1949. She was to have became SP 6100, but was sent to the T&NO and renumbered as T&NO 300 prior to this number being applied.
She was rebuilt as an F9M at Houston and renumbered T&NO 624 in 11/01/1956.
She was retired on 06/05/1968 and sold to EMD on 06/13/1968.
