SP 6011B

This loco was built in 8/1946 with EMD construction number 3515 for service on the combined UP-SP City of San Francisco power pool and numbered SF-8. She was built as a dual engined E7 B-unit. She was painted in City of San Francisco colors to form a continuous matching train set.

She was renumbered to SP 5916 to remove her alpha suffix on 10/26/1949.

At some point in the late 1950's or possibly early 1960's she was repainted into the newly adopted grey and red "bloody nose" scheme for all locomotives regardless of passenger or freight assignment.

She was retired on 09/03/1968 and sold to EMD for scrap on 09/24/1968.
