SP 6003C
This loco was built in 8/1947 with EMD construction number 4156. She was built as a dual engined E7 B-unit. She was painted in the SP's standard Daylight orange and red colors. She was delivered as part of an ABB set which included a matching E7 A-unit numbered SP 6003A & a mate E7 B-unit numbered 6003B, but they were never drawbar equipped.
She was renumbered to remove her alpha suffix along with many other SP F-units and PA's in 1949. She became the SP 5907 on 10/27/1949.
At some point in the late 1950's or possibly early 1960's she was repainted into the newly adopted grey and red "bloody nose" scheme for all locomotives regardless of passenger or freight assignment.
She was retired on 04/11/1968 and sold to EMD for scrap on 05/22/1968.
