The SP converted retired FM Trainmaster SP 3027 to a non-powered, brake sled for use and evaluation of concept at the road's new West Colton Hump yard in 197x.
The program was not deemed a success, so this is the only conversion completed. She was retired and presumed scrapped after about a year of service.
