SSW B40-8 page

This page is dedicated to SSW's fleet of GE B40-8 locomotives. The SSW rostered 55 B40-8's purchased in two orders in the late 1980's. All units were lettered for subsidiary SSW and were delivered in grey and red "bloody nose" paint with low front hoods. The very similar B39-8 units were numbered just below them and were all for parent SP.
