SP 5100

This loco was built in 5/1980 with GE construction number 42979. It was built as a freight engine. It was painted in standard for the time bloody nose colors and featured a full 5 light headlight arrangement on both the front and rear end.

She was involved in a grade crossing accident in late June 1991 in Proctor, AZ which left her on her side. The damage was apparently not severe enough to end her career, as she was later photographed working in 1996.
