T&NO GE 44-tonner Roster
The Texas & New Orleans leased and operated several GE 44-tonner locomotives over the years, but only one seems to have worn a T&NO road number, that being engine #17 and then for only about two years. The others served as shop switchers, probably at Houston's Hardy St. locomotive shops.
