This loco was built in 12/1946 with GE construction number 28338. She was built as a switch engine.

She was transferred to the Pacific Lines as SP 1904 in 1958.

She was sold in 1962 to Pacific States Steel.

She went to Howard Terminal RR in their engine #7 later in 1962.

She became Pacific Terminal RR engine #9 at Long Beach, CA in 1974.

She was sold to Purdy Metals at Mojave, CA (via dealer The Lerner Co.) in 1975, but was apparently not scapped.

She was reported to be at Spreckels Sugar in Mendota, CA as their engine #9 in 1982 and was reportedly still there as of 1992.
