The SP's PMT subsidiary is very well known for its fleet of trailer-on-flat-car (or TOFC) trailers. These trailers rode SP's early TOFC trains and received heavy attention from SP's advertising and marketing departments. Some early trailers were also treated to SP's daylight paint scheme and later trailers featured the SP's Golden Pig Service logo.
