This 84'-4", 75 ton, hi cube box car was built by xxxx in 6/1963. It featured and 18' door opening and 10,000 ft3 capacity.
It is believed that this is the prototype auto parts car ACFX developed jointly with the SP, L&N and Wabash and that Wabash purchased the car. If that is the case, the car became N&W 355999 and subsequently N&W 401 Saftey & Mechanical Instruction Car. This car was preserved at the Mad River and NKP Railroad Museum in Belleview, OH.
