CH-70-5 Covered Hopper Cars

These 70 ton, Airslide hopper cars were built by GATC in 12/1955-2/1956. They featured 2600 ft3 capacity. They were assigned to class CH-70-5.

Some cars of this class were placed in drawbar-connected pairs and renumbered as one car with A & B units by UP.
