UP 242000-242236

These 42'-0", 110-ton coil steel gondolas were built by Thrall (Job 423) in 10-12/1997. They featured one hood built and 400 ft3 capacity.

I would love to know why this class of car is apparently out of order, with the G-110-1 class having been built the following year. Any clarification would be apreciated.
