These 60'-3", 85-ton insulated box cars were built by PS (Lot 9437) in 3-5/1970. They featured 10'-6" plug doors, 20" Keystone cushioned underframes and 5487 ft3 capacity.

Apparently, three cars from previous class BI-90-4 were damaged beyond repair early in their careers and were thus replaced on a this order and given their predecessors' numbers: UP 462200, 462261 and 462494. This time they were classed as BI-90-5, however.
