UP 162300-162599				(to UP 500200-500449 in 1968)				

These 50'-6", 50-ton automobile box cars were built by PS (Lot 8204) in 12/1954 as PS-1s. They featured double Camel sliding doors for a 15' opening and 5042 ft3 capacity.

A group of these cars were rebuilt in 1968 and renumbered and reclassed as B-50-56 class cars.
