T&P 41000-41199

	T&P 41000-41199						(to T&P 64008 in 10/1952; DF added)

These 40'-6", 50 ton, box cars were built by Mt. Vernon in 10/1951. They featured 6' Superior sliding doors, improved Dreadnaught ends, S.R.E.M. diagonal panel rooves and 3898 ft3 capacity.

At least one car was modified with the addition of DF loaders in 10/1952 and renumbered from T&P 41008 to 64008. It is not known if other cars were so converted.
