SOU 2311:
This loco was built in 11/1968 with EMD serial number 34485. She was built as a yard switcher, model SW1500, with EMD Flexicoil trucks.
She was repainted into the River Street Rambler scheme in June 1983 and replaced a Southern (ex CofG) SW9 which had previously served the River Street industrial area of Savannah, GA. She was renumbered NS 1733 (the year of the founding of Savannah, GA) and served in this capacity until October 1997.
She became NS 2311 and was repainted into standard NS colors after her stint as the River Street Rambler.
