This loco was rebuilt in 8/1980 from GP7 SCL 782 (ex ACL 251) by SCL Uceta shops. After rebuild, she retained her EMD serial number 15946 but became what SCL referred to as a GP16. She was released in Family Lines paint.

She became SBD 4731.

She became CSXT 1777.

She was retired on 01/13/1993.
