This loco was rebuilt in 5/1980 from GP7 SCL 989 (ex SAL 1809) by SCL Uceta shops. After rebuild, she retained her EMD serial number 17381 but became what SCL referred to as a GP16. She was released in Family Lines paint.

She became SBD 4718.

She became CSXT 1764.

She was retired on 01/13/1993.
