This loco was rebuilt in 10/05/1979 from GP9 SCL 1029 (ex SAL 1955) by SCL Uceta shops. After rebuild, she retained her EMD serial number 22626 but became what SCL referred to as a GP16. She was released in Family Lines paint.

She became SBD 4616.

She became CSXT 1716.

She was retired on 01/13/1993.
