This loco was rebuilt in 11/1982 from GP7 L&N 2372 (ex L&N 2201, 390, MP 71, nee C&EI 206) by SCL Uceta shops. After rebuild, she retained her EMD serial number 8875 but became what SBD referred to as a GP16. She was released in Seaboard System paint.

She became CSXT 1854.

She was retired from the CSXT roster on 04/30/1992.
