This loco was rebuilt in 11/1982 from GP7 L&N 2369 (L&N 490, 399, MP 85, nee C&EI 220) by SCL Uceta shops. After rebuild, she retained her EMD serial number 10248 but became what SBD referred to as a GP16. She was released in Seaboard System paint.

She became CSXT 1852.

She was retired from the CSXT roster on 01/19/1993.
