This loco was rebuilt in 11/1982 from GP9 L&N 2412 (ex L&N 543, MP 343, nee C&EI 236) by SCL Uceta shops. After rebuild, she retained her EMD serial number 22016 but became what SBD referred to as a GP16. She was released in Seaboard System paint.

She became CSXT 1851.

She was retired from the CSXT roster on 01/19/1993.
