These 50 ton, 40'-6" automobile box cars were built by PS (Lot 5888) in 2 & 4/1948 as PS-1s. They featured 10'-6" inside height, two offset Superior doors for a 14'-0" opening, PS roof and ends and 3901 ft3 capacity. They were assigned to class AF-4.
