This loco was built in 9/1956 with EMD serial number 23098. She was built as a freight engine. She featured a sealed beam headlight in her front and rear ends. As with all SAL GP9s, she did not feature dynamic brakes.
She became SCL 1024.
She was rebuilt into a GP16 by SCL Uceta, FL Shops in 11/1982 and became SCL 4645.
She became SBD 4645.
She became CSXT 1745.
