This loco was built in 11/1955 with EMD serial number 21512. She was built as a freight engine. She featured a sealed beam headlight in her front and rear ends. As with all SAL GP9s, she did not feature dynamic brakes.
She became SCL 1010.
She was rebuilt into a GP16 by SCL Uceta, FL Shops in 2/1982 and became SCL 4639.
She became SBD 4639.
She became CSXT 1739.
