This loco was built in 9/1952 with EMD serial number 17385. She was built as a freight engine. She featured a sealed beam headlight in her front and rear ends. As with all SAL GP7s, she did not feature dynamic brakes.
She became SCL 993.
She was rebuilt into a GP16 by SCL Uceta, FL Shops in 11/1981 and became SCL 4774.
She became SBD 4774.
She became CSXT 1820.
She was retired on 02/18/1993.
