SAL 1798:
This loco was built in 9/1952 with EMD serial number 17370. She was built as a freight engine. She featured a sealed beam headlight in her front and rear ends. As with all SAL GP7s, she did not feature dynamic brakes.
She was wrecked in 3/1956 and rebuilt as a GP9. She apparently retained her road number and serial number. It appears that no major changes were done externally to the unit's appearance.
She became SCL 978.
She was rebuilt into a GP16 by SCL Uceta, FL Shops in 1/1982 and became SCL 4782.
She became SBD 4782.
She became CSXT 1828.
She was retired 02/18/1993, sold and became RJCR 1828.
She became EV 1828.
