This loco was built in 1-3/1951 with EMD serial number 13387. She was built as a freight engine. She featured a sealed beam headlight in her front and rear ends. As with all SAL GP7's, she did not feature dynamic brakes.

She became SCL 954.

She was sold and became USSC 986.
