This loco was built in 11/1950 with EMD serial number 12099. She was built as a freight engine. She featured a sealed beam headlight in her front and rear ends. As with all SAL GP7's, she did not feature dynamic brakes.
She became SCL 921.
She was rebuilt into a GP16 by SCL Uceta, FL Shops in 7/1980 and became SCL 4728.
She became SBD 4728.
She became CSXT 1774.
She was retired on 09/29/1992, sold and became ACWR 1774.
She became ACWR 1603.
