This loco was built in 8-9/1960 with EMD serial number 26117. She was built as a freight engine. She featured a sealed beam headlight in her front and rear ends. As with all SAL GP18s, she did feature dynamic brakes.

She became SCL 1059.

She became SBD 1059.

She was retired and traded in to EMD and presumed scrapped.
