These 50'-6" box cars were built by PS as above. They featured 10' PS doors, cushioned underframes and 4929 ft3 capacity.
It is not known at this time why two cars were apparently seperated into their own class as B-70-12 cars. The UP Freight Car Diagram lists these cars as "Purchased from Rock Island" and built by PS in 1966. The only cars matching that criteria are these.
