RI 24000-24999							(to RI 59000-59149)
									(to LNAC 100-299; to LNAC 10100-10293)

These 40'-6", 50 ton box cars were built by AC&F (lot 3457) in 6-8/1950. They featured a 6' door opening and 3898 ft3 capacity.

Some were rebuilt by USRE and placed in the RI 59000-59149 series.

Some were rebuilt by USRE (Lots 1104 & 1115) in 1971-1972 and became LNAC 100-299 as above. These cars were later renumbered to LNAC 10100-10293) in 1975.
