These 52'-6" gondolas were built by Greenville Steel Car Co. (Order 868) in 9-11/1965. They featured 17-post sides, fixed ends, steel floors, cushioned underframes and capacity as above. Some appear to have been later fitted with covers for coil steel service. They were assigned to class 967-G.

Many of these cars were rebuilt for BN by Rocky Mt. Railcar in 1992 as BN 500250-500347.
