P&LE 7300-7599

These 50'-6", 70-ton box cars were built by Despatch Shops (Lot 929-B) in 8-10/1963. They featured 10' sliding doors, cushion underframes, lading strap anchors, perforated protruding interior side rails and 4929 ft3 capacity. They are listed as "heavy duty" in the ORER. They were assigned to class 929-B.
