This loco was built in 8/1962 with EMD serial number 27504. She was built as a freight roadswitcher, model GP18 with a low hood and dynamic brakes.

She was wrecked on 11/02/2001. The extent of the damage is not known, but she was aparently able to be repaired and returned to service.

She became ESPN 1804.
