NS 27000-27249

	NS 27000-27249		(re#'d NS 1500-1729)	

These 40'-6", 50 ton box cars were built by PS (lot 5871) in 8/1947. They featured 3899 ft3 capacity and a 6' door opening. They were sold to USEX in 1966 and leased back as NS 1500-1729. They were assigned to NS class XM-5.
