These 40'-6", 40 ton automobile box cars were built by Magor (lot P-8800) in 4/1937. They featured Evans auto loaders. With loaders deployed for loading automobiles, they featured 3805 ft3 capacity. With the loaders raised in stored position against roof of car for general cargo loading (presumably for backhaul) the capacity was reduced to 3625 ft3. They feautred double doors for a total of 12'-6" door opening. They were possibly assigned to NS class XM-2.
