NS GP59:

This page is dedicated to Norfolk Southern's fleet of GP59 roadswitchers. The NS was the owner all 36 GP59 units ever built, 33 built new for NS and 3 EMDX demonstrators. They were all built with low short hoods as the NS standard had shifted from high short hoods after the Southern/N&W merger.
