NS GP38
This page is dedicated to the original Norfolk Southern fleet of GP38 roadswitchers. The NS was the owner of 7 GP38 units, all built with low short hoods. When the Southern absorbed the NS, they rebuilt all of the original NS GP38's with high short hoods and repainted and renumbered them into the Southern fleet.
