These 3-bay, 100 ton, covered hopper cars were built by AC&F (lot 75-02670) in 9/1968. They featured 4600 ft3 capacity. These cars were built as "Conditionaire" cars with refrigeration and heating equipment and heavy insulation for various produce such as potatoes, carrots and other vegetables. This specialized equipment was removed over time and the cars were reassigned as regular covered hoppers.
