These 3-bay, 70-ton covered hoppers were built by PS (Lot 8480E) in 10/1959 as PS-2s. They featured 3215 ft3 capacity. Despite being listed as 3219 ft3 capacity by Eric Neubauer in his PS Freight Cars Production ebook, they are listed as 3215 ft3 in the ORER and physically stenciled as such on the cars.
