These 3-bay, 70 ton covered hopper cars were built by AC&F (lot 01-5072) in 10-11/1957. They featured 2927 ft3 capacity. It appears that many if not all of the cars in this group were initially leased to Reynolds Metals. Some ended up as CPAA cars with their Reynolds lettering still intact.
