MP 822

This loco was built in 1/1974 with EMD serial number 73648-7. She was built as a freight roadswitcher, model SD40-2. While she was an MP locomotive, she was assigned on paper to the T&P and carried small sub-lettering on her cab.

She was renumbered MP 3121 when the Missouri Pacific decided to place all of its SD40 and SD40-2 units into the 3000 series.
