MP GP40 Locos
This page is dedicated to MP's fleet of GP40 units. The MP was the owner of 24 GP40 units, all of which were originally RI and WP, via UP. All MP GP40's were repainted yellow with MISSOURI PACIFIC spelled out on the long hood. The MP 600 series numbers used were retained from the UP renumbering which was loosely based on the sequence of the original unit numbering, thus non-consecutive.
