MP GP35 Locos

This page is dedicated to MP's fleet of GP35 units. The MP was the original owner of 50 GP35 units, half of which were assigned to the T&P on paper and carried TP sub-lettering. They also inherited 18 GP35 units from the C&EI.

The MP began a program to remove the troublesome turbochargers from some of its GP35's, making them functionally GP38's in GP35 carbodies, placing them in the MP 2600 series.
